Fabric Yo-Yo tutorial

Well, here it is tutorial #1!!! Hopefully there will be many more to follow. These are darling little blobs of the easiest decor you will ever find! And you can make them in any size by adjusting the size of the beginning circle...so, here we go!

Find something circular and trace it onto your fabric and then cut out.

Next with a threaded needle, make a running stitch close to the edge of the circle

When you've made it all the way around the circle, pull tight and your circle will cinch. Flatten it out and tie off. Voila! You have a yo-yo!

Feel free to add buttons or little doo-dads to the middle like I did or sew right onto a project. They are super cute either way!

Thanks for the tutorial. I wasn't sure what a yo-yo was. It looks simple enough - I'll have to try it out!
